I had a delightful stay at the resort. The rooms were cozy and clean, opening to a shared balcony that wrapped around the front of the resort. The staff was attentive and thoughtful, offering quality suggestions based on individual taste. The location in a beautiful secluded valley was serene, offering a glimpse into the past. The dining experience had some limitations, but the overall service was exceptional.

My room down a hilariously long hallway in the historic wing was very nice. There was plenty of technical help available when needed.
Service

The staff was wonderful, attentive, and thoughtful throughout my stay. From room service to valet parking, they never missed a beat.
Location

The resort looks like it is right out of the 1890's complete with palms, situated in a beautiful valley next to the famous springs. The secluded setting was truly a retreat.
Dining
7.0
Although the food options were a bit limited, I did enjoy the homemade bread. The prices were on the higher side, but the quality was worth it.
Facilities

The facilities were top-notch, especially the shared balcony and the technical assistance available in the rooms. The resort truly offered a blend of historic charm and modern comforts.

The hotel provided a mix of pleasant experiences and some disappointments. The rooms were well-equipped with thoughtful amenities but lacked in cleanliness upon arrival. The service was friendly and welcoming but could have been more efficient. The location offered beautiful surroundings with various activities nearby, yet the dining options had limitations. Overall, the hotel had its charms but also room for improvement.
Rooms
7.0
The room came with fresh bottled water, a pet menu, and a special plate with treats, biscuits, and 'Happy 4th Birthday' written in peanut butter. However, it was not ready upon check-in, and washcloths were missing.
Service

The staff members were very pleasant, helpful, and polite, creating a warm atmosphere throughout the hotel.

While the dining experience in the Frontier Tavern was good, options were limited for vegetarians, and the timing for serving breakfast could be improved.

My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the location offered a wonderful escape to the splendor of the Pennsylvania countryside, the room cleanliness was a major letdown with long black hairs found on the bed and bathroom floor. Dining experiences varied, with the Frontier Lounge shining but the Crystal room breakfast falling short. However, the facilities like the huge library and puzzles added a nice touch to the stay.
Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in at the far end of the 3rd floor was disappointing in terms of cleanliness, as it seemed the bed hadn't been changed with long black hairs and popcorn found. This was quite off-putting. The room closer to the elevator may offer a better experience.
Service

The staff members I encountered were friendly and accommodating, making my check-in process smooth.
Location

The hotel's location in the Pennsylvania countryside is truly beautiful, providing a serene and secluded setting that takes you back in time to the eras of early presidents. However, it was slightly inconvenient that I had to change into street clothes to access certain dining options within the resort.
Dining
6.0
Dining experiences varied during my stay. The service at the Frontier Lounge was exceptional, offering a delightful culinary journey. However, the breakfast at the Crystal room left much to be desired in terms of quality and variety.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel facilities had some nice touches like a huge library of books to borrow and engaging puzzles that added to the overall experience, providing opportunities for relaxation and entertainment.
